Is ThermoHammer safe for my iOS device?
Yes, absolutely. ThermoHammer runs standard, non-destructive arithmetic calculations completely within iOS’s native system and power-management safeguards. The app never overrides system thresholds, bypasses security, or overclocks your hardware. It simply measures and visualizes how your device naturally protects itself under sustained workloads.
How do the 5, 15, and 30-minute tests work?
These tests analyze performance over short, medium, and long durations. While a 5-minute test shows initial stability, a 15 or 30-minute test allows your device to reach its natural thermal equilibrium. This gives you a highly accurate picture of how your device maintains performance during prolonged, heavy usage.
How do I submit my scores to the Leaderboard?
Once any of the standard tests complete, you'll see an option to submit your score directly to our global database. You can compare your device's average and peak GIPS (Giga Instructions Per Second) against identical models or other hardware variants worldwide.
